Html5, CSS3, jQuery have been on the agenda, so has UTF8 code, unlimited boxes, boxdes display to different widths at will, vertical and horizontal dropdown menus, new pages configuration, unlimited  secundary configurations, an install function, a backup function, url rewriting, online help with built-in option...

Changements are many indeed, so please take the time to discover and tame.

A smart start could be visiting all tabs and pages of the new admin area and its new features.
In the admin area, when you notice an interrogation mark in the upper right hanside corner, just click on it to see what it's about; you might find it useful.

Following GuppYLand, GuppY resources homeland, GuppYEd, GuppY promotion site for teachers, we are pleased to come up with GuppY help Centre where all help will be available for GuppY.

The migration script is intended for websites running with version 4.6.x of GuppY.

The evolution of version 5 is so substantial that it was not possible to provide a migration from older versions .

If your website runs on an older version of GuppY, you will have to first migrate to 4.6.28 before doing it to 5.0.

GuppY 5.0, web portal, your easy to use for the end user that you are, and which requires no sql database is enriched with many new features to give you maximum services.

GuppY 5.0 can be installed on all hosters systems (or nearly). The only constraint is about your hoster providing service of script language PHP. GuppY will run under PHP 5.1 at the minimum.

No need to be a geek at HTML, or at configuration of MySQL databases, or PHP, because GuppY comes with a full-fledged  secured administration interface to manage design and contents of every particular section of your site.
